Layout Templates

Last Update: 16 September 2020

Layout templates are Beaver Builder layouts containing any combinations of rows, columns, and modules. They can be appended to or replace existing layouts in both standard layouts and Beaver Themer layouts. After a layout template is added to a page, any aspect of its layout or content can be modified.

Layout templates are accessed from the Templates tab in the Content panel at the upper right of the screen.

Add a layout template to your page

Layout templates are prebuilt page layouts with content that you can either append to an existing page layout or use it to replace the existing page layout. See the layout templates overview in the Related Articles below.

To replace existing content or append a layout template to your Beaver Builder content:

  1. Open a page for editing in Beaver Builder.
  2. Open the Content panel and click the Templates tab.
  3. Choose the layout template you want.
If the page is blank, you’ll get a choice of replacing the existing layout or appending the new layout.

Create and save a custom layout template

  4. Give the template a name and click Save.
